Boom in sales of new private homes
THE United States home loans crisis may be deepening, but Singapore has just posted its best month of new private home sales in 10 months.
Sales in June shot up to 801 units from just 453 units in May, thanks to several large mass- to mid-market project launches. The total number of units launched by developers rose an even stronger 124 per cent to 1,069.
