tibet riot

was talking to mum about the tibet riot on the way to school.
she brought it up first actually, said its good we were there last year.
its a pity that such a nice place is tainted by violence now.
the picturesque view in contrast with the blood shed. quite sad really.
got kinda agitated talking about it.
am not pro-tibetan indepence but don't like how the central govt do stuff.
ok i will keep my comments to myself cause they might just shut off my blog. HEEE.
driver's cute. he was listening to me arguing with mum and he laughed.
thank god he doesn't threaten to throw me outta the car everytime i curse his country. phew.

will miss my driver when i go back.
he's been with us ever since we came here.
done so much stuff.
and i think he's one of the best.
i mean, he's the call anytime and he comes to pick us wherever kinda driver.
know he's not obligated to do so, but he does.
he doesn't mind sending friends home even though its like 1am and he has to work at 7am the next day too.
haha. makes sure we cross the road safety each time we do so too. (he probably knows i can't) TSK.
small acts, but can see his genuine concern.
and he loves bak kut teh. LOL. (YHX u lousy la! :P)
he'd go with daddy to eat when they're bored. tsk!
hmm, getting post-leaving sh syndrome. HAHA.

ok anyway, back to tibet.

'CHINA released gory details on Monday of knife-wielding Tibetan protesters carving off a chunk of flesh from a Chinese paramilitary policeman and cutting off the ears of passers-by.'

'A member of the People's Armed Police was beaten unconscious by a mob, one of whom then used a knife to carve out a chunk of flesh the size of a fist from his buttocks'

'A passer-by was burnt alive after petrol was poured over him'


why must things get so violent anyway.
it started out as a peaceful protest.
besides, the place's just wonderful.
blue sky, large pieces of green land, long roads, clean fresh air, animals grazing the grass.
you get the idea.
violence totally spoils the serenity.

okie, this led me to think about the LIFE AND DEATH incident we faced in tibet.

ms lee gave 3 sets of chem paper.
she have the HL, erm, 5? HAHAH. i pity them.
mrs wong wanted to make us write 5 essays for practice, by friday.
its monday today. HAHAHAH. we went 'mrs wong, are you outta your mind?'
ya really. like wtff? must say our class's BLARDY good in collective bargaining. or whining. and complaining. whatever. HAHAH.
managed to cut it down to ONE. LOL LOL LOL LOL.
but guess we need practice. or rather I need.
paper 2's pulling down my blarrrdy english to a 6.
