Take it all, And just take it easy
And celebrate the malleable reality

wouldn't want to be in this lawyer's position. HAHA. so embarrassing.
the judge's cute.

Miss Subashini Jeyabal refuted anything they hurled her way: She had never seen her mother go into a trance, they were a happy family and her mum was no drunkard.

Lawyer Anthony Lee, who is representing three of the church-goers, responded: 'So the whole world is telling a lie except you?'

When Mr Denis Tan, who is acting for the other three church-goers, asked Miss Jeyabal why she had not called the police after the incident, she replied: 'Oh trust me, we wanted to.'

The lawyer shot back: 'I'm sorry, I don't trust you.'

But it was not just those on the witness stand who had to watch their words. When Mr Tan started questioning Miss Jeyabal, he promised to be kind but later raised his voice when their exchanges got heated.

This prompted Madam Valli's lawyer, Mr R.S. Bajwa, to say: 'He started off very impressively...but now, he's shouting at her.'

Earlier, Mr Lee said that he had 'over 20 witnesses' to dispute Miss Jeyabal's claim that the curtain of the window looking into the room where the exorcism took place had been drawn.

The judge said: 'Mr Lee, you don't have that many witnesses.' Defence lawyers did a quick count and confirmed they had only 16.

When Mr Tan told Miss Jeyabal that he could call 100 witnesses to prove there was a door in a particular corridor in the church, the judge asked: 'You're going to call 100 witnesses to testify that there was a door there?'

Perhaps Madam Valli was being brutally honest when she told Mr Isaac: 'I never liked lawyers.'
